This project is based off of a 1941 J.D Salinger short story by the same name: The Heart of A Broken Story. It inspired me to think about what reasons could get two people together.

The process of designing the puppet was a blessing as I was able to design them in a metallic way to show that they do not exist in the real world but still be able to tell their none existent story.

The process of shooting the stop motion involved screen screen, set building, and puppet making. Everything was then put together using Adobe After Effects and Media Encoder.
Hope you enjoyed this project or hearing the Justin and Shirley's story that didn't actually occur.
